The main character of this masterpiece is great: crazy, idealistic, and courageous. Don Quixote, out of his time, tries to revive in his person the chivalric ideals of ancient times, passing through countless troubles with his squire, Sancho Panza, and his horse, Rocinante.

The adventures of Don Quixote, sometimes funny, sometimes tragic, led him to travel throughout almost all of Spain, meeting various characters, rich in stories and anecdotes.

Such is the popularity of this noble gentleman that his story has been translated into 145 languages and is considered to be the best literary work of the Spanish language.
